Why a Lifehome?

Founded in 2014 by Phil and Sheryl Connors, the Lifehome philosophy was born after seeing a vacancy in the housing market for people looking for a home that would cater for specific needs due to injury, disability or impairment, whether immediately or in the future years. Phil, a local building surveyor noticed that the only options available to people looking for such a home were to renovate their current residence (which may cost $100,000 in alterations) or relocate to a living village or retirement home reducing independence and giving away a secure asset. The Lifehome’s purpose is to provide a high-quality independent lifestyle with a fit-out that caters to specific needs, whether immediately or future proofing for years to come.

A Lifehome is built for ease of accessibility, use and enjoyment… but most importantly, built for you.
